On 13/03, the LGBTQ+ community in Belgium organised manifestations across Flanders to protest the prevalent homo- and transphobia that’s still present, even in a seemingly tolerant society.
This was due to the recent attack and murder of a homosexual man, who was lured to an abandoned park through a dating app.
