I started this blog to be able to share my photographic portfolio without having to worry about the prudish censorship rules that are prevalent in main social media sites, such as Instagram and Facebook. Apparently, the puritanian views in society still dictate that sex and violence are perfect selling points as long as no female nipples or genitals in general are seen or generally left-wing ideals (such as racism and sexism being bad) are being expressed.

This does not help anyone in gaining a balanced view on bodily or social issues, nor to gain a healthy idea of sexual experiences. I prefer to portray reality. I don’t scrub portraits with Photoshop or remove imperfections from the picture. I think there is beauty to be found in every person or scene I photograph, and a picture-perfect mindset diminishes the value of the everyday subject.
